Abstract Guidelines

• All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and selected for Oral or Poster communication.
• Selected abstracts will be published in the "Revista Portuguesa de Diabetes".
• Abstract submission is not mandatory for participation in the symposium.

Presentations

Presenting authors must be registered in the symposium. Oral and poster communications should be presented in English.

 

ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

• Oral communications must be written in english and presenters are free to use the template available here.

POSTER COMMUNICATIONS

• Each poster will have a 80 cm x 100 cm (portrait) space on a freestanding bulletin board. Text should be printed in a font size large enough to read from a maximum distance of 1 m. Posters should be presented and printed in english.
• Materials for holding the posters in place will be provided.
• Poster sessions will be held during coffee break in the morning and lunch time. Poster presenters are expected to be present and available for discussion at the poster session. Posters must be placed at least one hour before the beginning of the session and retrieved by the end of the symposium.

 

Awards

Awards will be delivered to best oral and best poster communications, to be announced at the Closing Ceremony.
